		A young woman tells about her first job.
		My name is Deborah Lynn Lewis.
		I am a computer programmer,...
		and I work for a technology company in the center of the city.
		I graduated from the university three months ago,...
		and this is my first job.
		I like being independent and earning my own money,
		but my life is much harder...and monotonous...than before.
		Every day I wake up at 6:30 in the morning.
		Then I get up, bathe, and get dressed.
		I leave to take a 20 minute walk and then have breakfast.
		I leave my house at 7:45 and arrive at the office at 8:20.
		I sit in front of my computer and work until noon.
		I leave to have lunch with my fellow workers.
		I return shortly, and work until five.
		I get home at quarter to six.
		I prepare dinner and eat.
		I read a little, chat on the telephone with my boy friend...
		and watch television until ten.
		Then I go to bed at ten and I fall asleep immediately.
