Type accent marks easily.
Characters with
accents, umlauts, cedillas, and other special characters such as á, ö, ñ, ç,
etc. are an important part of a language. A missing accent can change the meaning
of the word.
Hello World gives you a way to type an accent easily in all the games and activities.
To add an accent to a letter, type the letter (or position the cursor after the letter), then press and release Control (Windows) and then type the accent mark.
(If the accent mark requires shift, you do not need the shift. For example ; is the same as :)
Example:
? Control + ' = ¿
! Control + ' = ¡
c Control + ' = ç
n Control + ' = ñ
a Control + ^ = â
a Control + 6 = â
e Control + ' = é
e Control + ` = è
o Control + : =ö
a Control + e = æ, A ALT + e = Æ
