Help for the conversations

How to play: Each dialog (conversation) has a different topic.

The dialog will play each scene one after the other, pausing after each scene. Use the pause button to stop, then use the play button to continue.

In addition to listening to the dialog, you can move the mouse over the picture. The name of the object will pop-up. Click to hear the word pronounced.

When you get to the end you will see a star button, . Click the star button to record your time on this activity and that you completed it.

What is learned: The students learn model sentences that they can use in everyday situations. Most of the sentences in the dialogs use simple phrases that can be altered depending on the context.

Getting the most out of the activity: Do the entire dialog from beginning to end. Repeat the words you hear, notice which person is talking.

Group activities: Print out the page from the web site. Let the students act out the dialog.
