Hello Computer Science: C++ Algorithms

At the end of this lesson you will be able to develop an algorithm to solve a problem and be able to implement it.
You will be able to understand a flowchart and write a C++ program from a flowchart.

1. Print and read the lessons. (Punch, staple, put in your binder.)

2. Do the online tutorial on flowcharts.

3. Work with the Animated Flowcharts: Gas Mileage , Grades

To get the most out of these flowcharts

Walk through the flowchart on paper,
make a column for each variable and write down values to input,
do the calculations.
Run the Animated Flowchart, put in the same values and see if you get the same answers.
Minimize the screen and try drawing the flowchart on paper.

4. Write a C++ program to implement the Gas Mileage program from the flowchart. (For practice!)

5. Develop an algorithm for the Price of Gas problem.

6. Write a C++ program to implement the Price of Gas problem.
