 Nadezhda Obukhova 
 Nadezhda Obukhova was born in 1886. 
 She was a Russian singer with the Bolshoi theatre. 
 Nadezhda had a unique style.  
 When she sang she was sharing her soul with the public.  
 Once you heard her voice, you would never forget it. 
 She came from an artistic family. 
 Two of her uncles were professional singers. 
 One uncle was the opera director of the Bolshoi Theatre.  
 Her grandfather was a pianist. 
 Her great-grandfather was a poet. 
 She started singing very early. 
 Nadezhda began to sing as early as she could remember. 
 Her grandfather taught her to sing and play the piano when she was 12 years old. 
 After her graduation, she sang in concerts. 
 She did not become an opera singer until she was 30 years old. 
 She quickly became a popular singer. 
 She did what she loved until she died. 
 She died two months after giving her last concert.
